Sonesha’s Conscious Living Yoga and Meditation Retreat provides a wonderful opportunity for personal development while also gaining new perspectives relating to wellbeing. Here you can experience yoga and meditation techniques which promote a balanced and harmonious life.

The retreat is set in a private section of Ballina Beach Village conveniently situated just a few minutes’ walk away from South Ballina Beach.

The Conscious Living Yoga and Meditation Retreat will consist of sun salutations, yoga classes, beach meditations, workshops, philosophy and personal development activities, and some free time to walk around, swim in the on-site pool, and relax.

This Conscious Living Yoga and Meditation Retreat allows individuals from differing backgrounds to meet and share common goals such as inner peace and a motivated lifestyle. Connecting with like-minded people consolidates a deeper awareness.

People often think yoga is only about stretching. At Sonesha, yoga is also about crafting balance in the body through developing strength and flexibility. This is achieved through the enactment of poses or postures which have actual physical benefits, as well as energising the 7 main chakras. This assists with purification of organs and harmonising the endocrine system. The poses may be done in quick succession to create body heat through movement. A slower movement between poses is often recommended to improve stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. Our classes are tailored to provide students with maximum benefit through a variety of activities.

This retreat is suitable for all levels and no prior experience in yoga or meditation is required.

The weekend will also feature a nutritious vegetarian menu for all meals; which are included in the cost.

You love it… But you can’t get Fridays off work!

We fully understand that it isn’t always convenient for people to get away before the weekend. So we are quite happy for you to come after work and join in with the evening activities from 7:30pm on Friday October 7th and then through the rest of the weekend program. Just mention that when you contact us for booking and accommodation information and we will let you know the amended cost etc.

Retreat Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by registered participant: for a 3 day retreat up to 2 weeks before the retreat a full refund minus a $50 administration fee will be paid. Later than 2 weeks before the retreat your fee is non-refundable.

Cancellation by Sonesha: We reserve the right to cancel the retreat if there are insufficient registrations. Sonesha may substitute the scheduled retreat facilitators at any time. If Sonesha is required to cancel the retreat for any reason, all registered participants will be notified and receive a full refund.
